Student Success Statement

"I trust that my hard work will pay off."
-Tyler Haws

Tyler Haws has always worked hard and it has brought him very fortunate things. He is a great Basketball player, basketball captain, great brother, great student, good son and a missionary. He has always believed in becoming better and has done so always working on and off the court. He is the all-time leading scorer for his university. He also hold the record for 43 consecutive free throws made.
Online Research

My online research today was about the Chicago Bulls. I have rooted for the Bulls since I was a little boy watching Michael Jordan play with my father. The Bulls have not always been a great team, it took a lot for them to become National Champions in 91', 92', 93', 96', 97', and 98'. Mostly with the help of Michael Jordan, they all had to become a united team in order to accomplish their goals. They got knocked out the 89' finals and the same in 90'. They knew they had to bounce back harder and learn from their mistakes. Season 91' they just dominated the league and made it clear they were destine to be NBA Champions.

Student Success Statement

"Many think that the short term gain will be worth the long term pain, but it isn't. In addition, using steroids is cheating, and there is nothing worse in sports than a cheater. Don't do it."
-George Mitchell

George Mitchell is saying a great quote and it involves with a lot of things. So many people believe that short term pains to yourself will help you and will not affect you in the futute, but that is false. For example, one that uses steroids will see the difference in the body for a while, but will see a bigger difference later in their life. It is cheating yourself and it is better to accomplish things the correct way.

- Benjamin Franklin

One may have a lot to offer but unless that person has a great heart, then they are not great. One must be able to give their all, their loyalty, their trust, must be there to do the right thing at all times.
