Western Medicine Doctor

Duties and Responsibilities:

System where medical doctors and other healthcare professionals treat symptoms and diseases by using drugs, radiation or surgery.

Education:

First need to attend medical school, which is then followed by an internship. After, they then recieve their M.D. which must be completed at a recognized university. 

Reflection: 

I would not like to be a Western Medicine Doctor.

Chinese (Oriental) Medicine

Duties and Responsibilities: practice of acupuncture Chinese herbology and Asian bodywork therapy. Helps to diagnose and treat illnesses, prevent disease and improve well being.

Salary: $75,000-80,000

Education: purpose is to train practitioners to enable them to function as primary, independent healthcare providers, and most importantly to become an integral part of the modern healthcare system. 

Reflection: this seems very interesting to try and learn. It can be useful if someone is in need of it at that moment and can also help someone relax their body as well, I am not sure if I would like to work as one but to know it at least would be helpful. 

Biomedical Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities: analyze and design solutions in biology and medicine with goal of improving quality and effectiveness of patient care. Work in manufacturing, universities, hospitals, research facilities, of companies and educational and medical institutions, and government regulatory agencies. 

Salary: $86,960

Education: requires a bachelor's degree in biomedical engineer from an accredited program to enter the occupation. Often combine formal training in medical and electronics engineering with focused biomedical training to operate confidently in the field. 

Reflection: I don't believe I would like to be a Biomedical Engineer. I have not really liked science and this job requires knowing science in biomedical means. 

Acupuncture

Duties and Responsibilities: involves various methods such as penetration by thin needles or application of heat, pressure, or laser light.
Salary: 56,000-84,000
Education: requires in-depth study of the human body and the physiological effects of the treatment on the body. Also requires background in medicine, biology, psychology or neurobiology.
