Final: Part 2

  1. What I liked abou this class was being able to research different career choices. Every day we were here we had a different career to search up and it always gave me new knowledge. I learned about different areas which I may be interesteed in and how much the pay was in the outcome. Sometimes the career required much college experience but the salary would eventually pay the price. Also I enjoyed the quotes which we had to reflect on. I learned about different people, their stories and the quotes which helped them succeed. Some of those quotes came from people I knew and I did not know they would say such positive things as they did. There was nothing I did not like, I enjoyed the class in general. If there is one thing I did not like was me not coming too often. I missed a lot of class but I enjoyed it everytime I was here.
  2. A suggestion can be to give the students a bit more free writing. For example, have one day out of the week let them reflect on how their week is going and what they have planned for the rest of the week to come. It will help students speaking out on subjects they might be keeping inside. Another idea might be to show the students movies on those who have chose the right. It will be a better picture in their head and will motivate the students. In the end of the movies they can write a reflection or something to see what they learned from it.
  3. When I am present in this class I do try my best on my work. I have always enjoyed using a computer and when I am able to use one, I always use my time wisely. The only thing I lacked on was my attendence in this class. I missed a lot of school and I regret it. I didn't choose to miss school, I get migraines very often and it stops me from being able to doing my everyday activities.
  4. When I am here, I do read from my life planning book. I also write some stuff in when I have something in mind. Outside of class I don't read and write in it as much as I should. I don't go in it daily which I should but I do look over it when I have time to spare. The life planning 100+ goals is a big help for me. It helps me keep track of my short term goals.
  5. I am committed on being a CTR person because it very much leads you to all the right. I have learned that choosing the right all the time will lead you to better things. There are times where one might want to do wrong and think it will not harm them. It will harm you in the future and when chosen the right it will help you deeply. I also am committed on being a CTR person because I have learned from my mistakes and know I should always choose the right.
  6. I promise myself to not do bad to my body by not using drugs. I have never used drugs and I plan on keeping it that way. I am going to help my mind by expressing my thoughts and not keeping everything piled up. I am going to help my spirit by alwasy being a positive person. I have always been a positive person and love to see people happy.
Final: Part 1

When they first introduced the Interdisciplinary Project to the class, I was not frightened about it. I come from a school where we have to do projects just like these every year since Middle School. My topic was some what difficult at first, but I just had to research on it mora. My group was not a bad group and we had people who actually did their part. Towards the middle it started getting difficult because we had a lot of factual evidence but did not know how to properly use it. We asked a teacher for help and he helped us through it, but it also switched up our information a bit. As a group we got through it by helping each other on places one another found difficult. A few days before the presentation we had to practice in class. Our group did not practice our presentation not one time, although we really should have. The day of the presentation my groupmates were nervous and weren't too sure what to say. I helped them by motivating them into not thinking about the presentation too hard. I told them it would not be difficult if they'd all stay calm. So, during the presentation they started off pretty nervous but got through it. I felt good knowing I helped them overcome a difficulty they had. We also got a very high score and great feedback from our judges. It was a good experience for all of us.

"When I do good, I feel good. When I do bad, I feel bad."
- Abraham Lincoln

Abraham Lincoln is stating a very good message to the people, by using himself for example. He is saying that he doesn't feel good when he dones bad, but does feel good when he does good. A person who knows they've done wrong does not enjoy it.

Thanksgiving Break

This Thanksgiving break was fun for me with the activities I did, The main and most I did was play Basketball, I have always love Basketball and lately I have not had too much time for it due to school and my job. So, last week I went out and played Basketball everyday. My favorite was on Wednesday when I took my little brother and cousin to Venice Beach and played Basketball on the memorial courts. On Thanksgiving I got to spend it with my mother's side in the morning and my father's side in the day. My weekend consisted of full working so that wasn't too fun.

Student Success Statement

"Physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body, it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity. The relationship between the soundness of the body and the activities of the mind is subtle and complex. Much is not yet understood. But we do know what the Greeks knew: that intelligence and skill can only function at the peak of their capacity when the body is healthy and strong."

- President John F. Kennedy

John F. Kennedy is explaining why physical fitness is one of the most important responsibilities of a person. For one to put full potential and strength, the body must function at its highest capacity. Physical fitness is the ability to be free with yourself, to be confident in yourself.
